Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 450F
Tomato Sauce
-
In a medium saucepan, add 28 oz can whole peeled tomatoes. Add 1 tsp kosher salt. Using your hand or potato masher, gently break up whole tomatoes until there are no pieces larger than 1 inch. Make sure the burner is off.
-
Heat tomato sauce on medium-low, uncovered for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Tomato sauce is done when it has thickened and excess water has evaporated. Use 1/4 Cup for this recipe. Refrigerate or freeze the remaining sauce.
Pizza Crust
-
For the pizza crust dough, combine flour, yogurt, and yeast. Yeast is just for flavor, there is no need to let the dough rise.
-
Mix until a dough forms and press into a greased glass baking dish.
-
Par-bake pizza crust for 7-10 minutes until edges start to brown.
Assemble Pizza
-
When the tomato sauce is done and the pizza crust is par baked, assemble pizza.
-
Spread 1/4 cup tomato sauce on par baked pizza. Top with mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni.
-
Return pizza bake to oven and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes. Pizza is done when crust has darkened and cheese is browned. Enjoy!
